This dreamy poetic song is a beautiful little number that sneaks up on you and has you humming along to the tune long after it’s finished. The chorus is an intertwinement of sleepy vocals, strings and piano, sticking true to the lyrics, and really does make you want to “fall asleep out on the lawn”. It’s the type of song you may yearn to listen to when you’re driving home in the rain at night after a 12 hour shift, and remembering a time (perhaps the weekend just gone) when the sun shone in the backyard, and you lay with your lover, feeling so comfortable that sleep consumes you so involuntarily as to obscure the line between the conscious and unconscious states.
